      My time at International Paper was bittersweet. I worked with some very talented people, but was overqualified.

      Pros

      They take care of and care about their employees. They work with you if you are having personal issues. For the most part they listen to their employees concerns and ideas. Their pay is above avg. for the position regionally and nationally.

      Cons

      There is a lot of red tape to get anything accomplished. They are not narrow minded but they have the tendency to get tunnel vision and refuse to cut losses when better options are presented. Especially in IT. Starting off entry level IT there are very few options for advancement.
