Pros

Workplace culture, helping people, somewhat flexible, thrilling, promote from within, the work is always interesting

Cons

Leadership not always forthcoming, definitely a place for single childless employees, no room for growth for years at a time, leadership willing to accept workers working themselves to the bone

Pros

Strong systems and procedures to support your work. Opportunities to grow within the organization. Field-based teams are very grounded in the realities of the work and the needs of communities served.

Cons

Work environment and culture does not support a healthy work life balance. Headquarters is very bloated and from a field-based perspective, it often feels as though the organization's priorities are not always positioned to best support the field work.
