The upper management had poor vision and communications with the employees Did not walk the talk when it came to quality initiatives Too much cost cutting initiatives has affected quality of product at owners expense Below average manufacturing/quality process controls at their plants and suppliers

Companies acquired by Navistar are treated like stepchildren. No real opportunities to advance within the corporation if you are not from the home office. It did feel like Big Brother is watching you. No recognition of talent or years of experience. They tend to get rid of the people getting close to retirement age. They would rather get rid of you if you have been there for years. Good Old Boy network They tend to bring in managers from the corporate office who have no clue about the product being manufactured & have no desire to learn from long-time employees. Excessive amounts of time spent with meetings, conference calls, & "goal-setting" for no real reason.
