Pros

Excellent pay and benefits, within a month they gave all employees a 5% base pay increase. Beautiful office and with the exception of a few people it is a friendly employee focused environment.

Cons

I was also given a writeup within the first month for being exactly 2 minutes late to our daily morning Teams meeting (A meeting of 3-4 people that literally have adjacent offices) due to me assisting an employee with his computer to resolve his TICKET. The company always talks about how important it is to cultivate a nice, fun, friendly & family like environment however my experience with both my manager and the coworker I was hired to help due to being promoted were anything BUT genuine. I told my coworker some minor things in confidence and what do you know I was approached by my manager for it. It wasnt anything bad but it just proved to me that I couldn't trust the one person I should because career advancement and kissing butt was more important for them and I am somehow supposed to be trained and be friendly with him. I then decided to test him and said small things knowing they would be passed along and sure enough they were.

At IRMI , we pride ourselves on having a friendly workplace where everyone is valued. We are sorry that this former employee had a bad experience with a couple of people. People are people, and there are times when relationships become difficult even in the best environments. IRMI standards would not allow an employee to be “written up” the first time they were late for a meeting. This would only happen if the tardiness was a recurring problem, and we are sorry it was necessary in this case. EOS stands for “Entrepreneurial Operating System,” and it is not a religion. It is a highly acclaimed process for managing small and middle market businesses that emphasizes goal setting and communication. We’ve been using EOS for a number of years, and the consensus of our employees is that they have a far better understanding of the company’s goals and their role in achieving them than they did before we adopted EOS. In fact our scores on employee surveys have increased substantially due to EOS. This former employee was new to the business world and EOS apparently did not resonate with him. However, we suspect most people would find the transparency that EOS requires to be refreshing as compared to companies that are less open about their goals and results.

Pros

Management is very reasonable. The work is interesting and can actually save lives. I was almost never pressured to work overtime - great work-life balance. Great vacation policy. Everyone is smart and polite.

Cons

Company culture is a little bit sleepy. They don't do a very good job of rewarding excellent work.

Pros

A few reasons I choose to work at IRMI: A boss who cares about me, my family, the company and our future A team that supports each other and works well across departments A leader who invests in our people, their ideas, their growth and our success An owner who gives back to the industry, community and causes An overall mentality of doing our best for ourselves, each other and the world

Cons

I don't have anything here
