I was also given a writeup within the first month for being exactly 2 minutes late to our daily morning Teams meeting (A meeting of 3-4 people that literally have adjacent offices) due to me assisting an employee with his computer to resolve his TICKET. The company always talks about how important it is to cultivate a nice, fun, friendly & family like environment however my experience with both my manager and the coworker I was hired to help due to being promoted were anything BUT genuine. I told my coworker some minor things in confidence and what do you know I was approached by my manager for it. It wasnt anything bad but it just proved to me that I couldn't trust the one person I should because career advancement and kissing butt was more important for them and I am somehow supposed to be trained and be friendly with him. I then decided to test him and said small things knowing they would be passed along and sure enough they were.
