Pros

Liked my team I worked with the problem was always management. Helping customers

Cons

I am writing this review as a warning to anyone considering working at IBS of Annapolis. With over 10 years of work experience there, I have never encountered such a toxic work environment. I was subjected to micromanagement, verbal threats, and even physical intimidation. The owner, who initially seemed to have good intentions, eventually became a menace who constantly scrutinized our work and never acknowledged our achievements. The warehouse was not only micromanaged but also hazardous, with piles of pallets stacked in an unstable manner that posed a significant risk to workers. We were criticized for using necessary safety equipment, and on multiple occasions, I was threatened with physical violence by a former supervisor. Despite the owner being aware of these incidents, they were ignored and swept under the rug. Additionally, half of the company was engaging in illegal activities such as driving company trucks while under the influence and wasting company time and resources. The conditions at the warehouse were deplorable, and I suffered physical consequences as a result. The owner expected us to charge batteries at a dangerous level, and there were regular explosions that resulted in me developing tinnitus from the lack of proper ear protection. We were also instructed to clean old batteries with paint thinner in a poorly ventilated area, and sometimes without gloves. The winter months were also a struggle, as we were either exposed to the cold or inhaling diesel fumes from an outdated heater that ran on kerosene, which was deemed too expensive to purchase. Working at IBS of Annapolis caused me immense psychological and physical stress. The job itself was manageable, but the constant fear of dealing with the toxic work environment was unbearable. I developed anxiety and stomach issues from the constant stress and uncertainty of what each day would bring. I strongly advise against considering IBS of Annapolis as a place of employment.

Pros

I work with very smart people. The projects are exciting and fun to work on.

Cons

Inept IT management. Poor strategy. Horrible execution. They are newer and really have no idea what they are doing.
