Pros

Great work colleagues and location. Valuable entry level knowledge. As someone who initially had no idea what safety compliance or regulatory standards were, there was actually some very useful information that I learned that will carry over to other jobs. If you can put up with the bs, you can move up pretty easily here because the turnover is so high that they are constantly looking for people to stick around and get promoted.

Cons

You are literally every department. Once you receive a project, you become shipping, billing, customer service, warehouse worker, project manager, technician, and engineer. You have to meet a sales quota, like a sales person. If you don't produce the company enough money every month you get a written warning and then eventually fired. This didn't happen to me, but I've seen it happen to others. There are times when you can't proceed with a project due to many different reasons, and that does not stop the quota that you need to produce. Senior management takes bonuses for themselves instead of distributing it to the engineers that do the work. They try to reward the engineers with small things like random pizza days or doughnuts in the morning day to make up for the money that they take. This job could be tolerable if there weren't so many inconveniences and if the senior management were better.

Pros

- Yourline manager will determine your success and or you look on the organization . -they must fully support you or they are strict and micromanaging - if your manager is flexible then you have a flexible schedule /hybrid -once your hired it’s very hard for you to get Fired -you can literally come in and do the bare minimum and no one will notice

Cons

-There is little to no support management from upper and higher management . Just prefer you stick to goals designated by UK group that has no idea the short falls of a U.S. based organization ( or maybe they care less) -very minimal work life balance , say good bye to vacations that you earn but rarely get to use . -bonus structure for management that is not attainable and no explanation given on why this was not achieved . -has company controls that are ignored , and higher management doesn’t want to be involved with the lower level individuals. -lower level employees work tirelessly. -business process have not adapted to an technological advances -if you have drive , ideas DO NOT COME TO WORK HERE THOSE DREAMS WILL BE KILLED AT EVERY TURN -No training , or details on who to go to for what -no synergy across any departments

Pros

PTO is generous, if you get on a good team it's not horrible. Free bottle of hand sanitizer if you're lucky.

Cons

No insurance for your spouse, horrid safety protocol for Covid, no growth, expected to be on call at all times, no directions for tasks you don't know you're supposed to be doing, HR is a joke
