      Pros

      Nice people. Flexible work schedule. A lot of potential to move positions, but your pay will not change.

      Cons

      False promises by management. Old eqiptment. This branch seems to be going broke!

      Pros

      With the amount of work they expect you to do, you can be assured that you will get exposed to a variety of different things.

      Cons

      At Intertek there is no leadership. Just a bunch of people claiming to try and make a positive work culture. More time and effort is wasted talking about training and development of its employees, but little to no action is taken. Everything is on a 30-day cycle to try and hit monthly numbers. When numbers are not hit, management goes into instant freak out mode and any semblance of a strategy they may have had goes out the window. Part of the reason they struggle to hit numbers is the ridiculous amount of turnover that Intertek has. It doesn't seem to matter what part of the business you're in, it is a revolving door of talent in and talent out. Most of those who stay are people who have given up or can't make it anywhere else.

      Pros

      The people (employees) are great and reason for most to stay even though pay is low and not market value.

      Cons

      HR and senior management sucks. Leadership reflects attitude... and leadership there are like do as I say but don't do as I do. Many of them are not there most of the time but expect employees to be present.
