The company pays well under the average

If you use your pto it’s frowned upon, management lacks leadership. People are promoted based on favoritism. Raises do not exist unless you call 2% increase a year if that a raise. If you want education outside of bachelors and masters programs it is not supported by them. Human Resources is the worst, they email you with attitude and when they come to visit the lab it’s always something negative. They lack communication and people skills which says a lot about why the morale is so low.
