Pros

Gain some experience in mining industry. Some inhouse opportunities to work away at regional sites. Good place to work as short term job while you look for something better.

Cons

Low pay rate Hot dirty working conditions. Minimal career advancement. They only want robots to get their numbers done and do not recognise any skills The shifts do not help or support each other through proper hand overs or end of shift tidying. Many upper and lower management are very condescending, rude and gossip and complain about any new staff. Very boring work.

Pros

Great people and fast paced environment.

Cons

Horrible decisions made by upper management which inevitably led to the location closing. One of the Lab Managers laid off nearly half the company at this location immediately following the christmas party to make budget cuts before the end of the year. Also, they were sued in a class-action lawsuit which paid out anyone that worked there within a certain number of years because they were instructing people to work unpaid overtime hours.
