Pros

Some people are great to work with. Good place to start to build skills for the next role after.

Cons

There are more people who are not great to work with. Also, the expectations of the job are not the same as the respect and rewards you would get

Pros

Good company. Just work hard and keep working hard. Work is easy. Too easy. All it requires really is diligence to study all the policies and attention to detail and the patience to deal with customer issues which come up frequently and technical saavy. Some web knowledge will make you really shine here at this job or at least it will make you feel that way. Web expertise not necessary for the job, but it makes the job feel so much easier. It's not even funny. The director of this division is very nice and so is much of the team. If you had any web knowledge, you would kind of understand what type of issues really need to get escalated to engineering and for what reason. Too much knowledge though doesn't really benefit you in the long run. It can also puff you up and make you think you're better than some folks and cause you to have a wandering eye for more opportunities to learn elsewhere. That's why its better to hire people with less knowledge and train them to do the job they were hired to do. It helps them feel like there's always more to learn. Which this job is perfect for. I actually managed to get my degree while working here, which was fantastic. Work life balance + study balance was amazing. Managers were accomodating for the time it took to get the degree. But be prepared to work harder after you get the degree.

Cons

none really. The job is not the problem. The problem is usually with the individual themselves, though often we do not realize it and instead point the finger at others.
