Pros

Those who do the work are doing their best to support the business and constant pivots on priorities Compensation has improved over the last 4 years to compete with other tech companies in Silicon Valley

Cons

Tops down decision-making even though leaders say teams are empowered to make data-driven decisions Lack of transparency on decisions, prioritization and team organization changes Lack of diversity in leadership and middle management Promotions biased and based on if you've worked closely with your manager instead of the great outcome of your work and leadership Heavy middle management with many who shouldn't be people managers

Pros

The individual contributors were often great unless they were not

Cons

Culture eroded in my org. Toxicity and arrogance in leadership. Many people were abandoning ship.

Pros

Worked with nice people who really worked hard and tried to provide good customer service.

Cons

Upper management not accountants. Don't know how to run a bookkeeping business. High volume, low quality - think Walmart.
