Pros

The salary and benefits are competitive.

Cons

There is a definitive divide between good managers (not great) and lowsy managers. The ignorance and incompetance level from where I sit is 80/20. 20 being the minority of managers that actually know what is going on in the world. It's really sad. It makes working here difficult on employee morale, productivity, and inexplainable when I have to go home to tell my family how my day went or worse shuffle excuses to the customers. The worst part is that the employees are not being heard. All that press about best place to work is a bunch of nonsense. Voice of Employee more nonsense. TPS is garbage busting at the seams. Public view of the companies difficiencies are now on Glassdoor becasue of it. Most of the posts I have seen here are valid. But hey what do I know I'm just an employee not a manager. Gamble your money if you want to.

Pros

Intuit is a fine place to work. I have interesting problems to solve on a daily basis and I am given the freedom to explore multiple ways of solving them. In this way, I feel that I am able to apply my creative and critical thinking talents regularly. Intuit is great about promoting work life balance. There are plenty of opportunities to unwind at work as well as typically generous vacation policies.

Cons

Upper management has struggled recently in establishing a clear vision for the company. There seems to be a re-org every 6 months with high level managers rotating in and out of business units way to frequently. Inter-team communication is a little weak. It can be hard to find other people and projects at intuit that may be relevant to your role.

Pros

Pay and benefits are great. For the most part, management does a good job, though some of the weaker ones are simply lemmings who are unable to think for themselves.

Cons

Company is going through some necessary and sometimes painful changes to retool itself for a new reality in today's technological world. Sometimes, in focusing on what is new, management forgets there is still value and investment that needs to be done in the old.
