A Great Place to Work

Pros

Nothing better than working with people who are smart and passionate about what they do. Good team environment. Great launch parties with good swag, including software and clothes.

Cons

Because people are passionate about what they do, they tend to stick around all night to get the job done. That makes for long hours sometimes. The organization is rather flat, so not a lot of sideward or upward mobility.

Pros

Great benefits, extremely intelligent co-workers, interesting and always changing work.

Cons

Multiple reorganizations, company seemed unfocused, a lot of group-think about important issues, so progress could not be made for those issues

Great to work for -- watch out for sudden layoffs.

Pros

Great teamwork is promoted. Agile thinking is taking over for waterfall. Awesome co-workers.

Cons

Sudden layoffs (2009, 2012) - replaced by seasonal or cheaper labor (or outsourced to India).
