Pros

Lots of emphasis on customer pain points (not sure if all is good though). Good focus on innovation and new things.

Cons

It is trying to identify itself with online and desktop space. Lots of legacy products; not sure about how those would be transitioned.

Pros

Intuit has a real focus on innovation, backed by whitespace time for engineers and opportunities for showing and winnowing and productizing innovative ideas.

Cons

Although actually innovative (with enormous user volume on its user-friendly web and mobile products), Intuit does not yet have a strong external reputation for innovation.

Pros

Overall, a very forward thinking company that has a solid respect for the employees. The right efforts are underway to change the company and move it into a competitive postion in the coming years (transforming from box software maker).

Cons

Tends to be a bit slow. The agility and speed of a smaller company is lost. It's disappointing to see small guys beating us at our core competency (Mint). We have decent development (training), but lack any real program for turning high performers into executives.
