Pros

Comp and benefits, career growth opportunities if under the right management chain, generally good team culture

Cons

Politics and red tape. Too much bureaucracy. People taking credit for work they don’t do. Work life balance is bad.

An ok place to work

Pros

Some roles and teams work on interesting things. There are plenty of little benefits and amenities: good 401k match, yearly 1300 "allowance" to spend on basically whatever you want, some campuses are nice.

Cons

Very political at the staff+ level. Too many managers. Senior leadership out of touch. Very short term thinking at the top level, always looking for quick wins to raise the stock price instead of building good products that excite our customers. However, we still have to pretend like we're building good products that excite our customers. PIP/DMNE quotas. Employees feel anxious and pressured in second half of the year, fearing layoffs.
