Pros

- The culture is amazing. I feel taken care of and respected - Benefits are good, I love the Wellness for life benefit and all the resources Intuit provides- virtually and at the offices. - The work is challenging and exciting! - Leadership (from my experience) truly cares about your growth, if you are dedicated to growing, they are dedicated to guiding you - GED! Time set for engineers to build anything they want! (Within the scope of making business impact)

Cons

- Compared to other tech companies, it seems Intuit is a bit on the lower end of the pay grade - Highly interconnected teams and architectures can create lots of friction if trying to make your own POCs and big independent initiatives - Often I find that backend documentation is non-existent or extremely difficult to find - Sometimes it feels there is not enough resources (engineers) on teams, often setting projects back and causing blockers

Being good to worst

Pros

I have been in this company pretty long time, and it all started with good things. Great services, food, pantry, gifts, work life balance, spotlights, decent mangers etc.

Cons

All turning to nightmare now 1. Worst managers and leadership, i have seen in entire 12+ year career. 2. If you want promotion, be ready to do butter polishing, or what not. 3. Favouritism in the root : Choose a pupet, make work-life balance worst, and then promote him/her further. Give all high value work to this butter polishing guy. 4. Ignore the real talent, waste them in unnecessary work damaged by someone else.
