      Pros

      Leader in the industry. Strong and stable company with an amazing mission. Competitive pay, benefits, time off, and opportunities for continued learning & growth. Supports a strong culture of I&D.

      Cons

      Work load can be high at times. Still working through a lot of the pains of disjointed processes due to rapid growth.

      Intuitive Surgical -- The last employer you need

      Pros

      Highly collaborative work environment. I have recruited in Silicon Valley for about 30 years. Intuitive work culture is built for collaboration. They walk (and run) the talk! It's an engaging work environment, inclusive, and they invest big resources into creating a diverse and comfortable work environment. A loyal workforce motivated by an unyielding commitment to excellence in robotic assisted surgery and lung cancer diagnosis.

      Cons

      Our technical bar is high as is our expectation to collaborate. If you cower at challenge and prefer to work in a vacuum, this is not the workplace for you. Compensation attraction is built on total cash compensation. You have to stick around (as many, many do) to realize the consistent and reliable financial upside.

      Still the best place I have ever worked!

      Pros

      -Stay busy not a lot of downtime -Able to work across teams and find continuous improvement project work all year long -Enterprise Resource Groups -Good Pay, Benefits, and time off

      Cons

      -If you need the structure of a very large organization and can't be pulled in multiple directions while keeping control of your calendar and work/life balance, then this is not the right place for you.
