      Great company in a growing field

      Pros

      Growth company in a fantastic field, especially if you care about the environment. Organization is fairly flat and senior management is approachable. Innovation is part of the culture. Chicago office is in a great location and the office has been recently remodeled and modern. Career opportunities are great.

      Cons

      Work/Life balance can and will take a hit within an entrepreneurial environment.

      Pros

      Great PTO. Great employees; most are extremely passionate about their jobs, which creates a great working environment. Most of senior management is very down to earth and approachable.

      Cons

      Some groups within the organization, are, for lack of a better term, toxic. My departure was in large part because of the toxic group that I was a part of. Unfortunately some very great people are sprinting out of Invenergys doors due to a few bad apples ruining the bunch.

      Pros

      Company has a very innovative idea in the market place. Company seems very agile to a multitude of threats or obstacles to its success. Diverse workforce with a fun young culture guided by leaders and visionaries in the industry. Nicely renovated office space with lots of cool art. A place that lets you carve out your spot and push hard to succeed (if you don't work hard, don't expect to get much attention) Great company culture and values.

      Cons

      The company is growing rapidly so there is a large workload, but for those who are willing to accept challenges, this is a great opportunity to show value. Going along with the previous comment, the company seems under staffed in some areas. I see more and more people being hired every week, so hopefully this is helping.
