Pros

Learning opportunities in the industry and excellent, supportive coworkers

Cons

Lack of policies and procedures; inconsistent feedback from management; unprofessional team meetings and 1:1s. All of our team used to have career development meetings and those went by the wayside due to their ineffectiveness.

Pros

The office is very friendly and the work environment itself is not overly intense. The hours can be short depending on your team/manager The company is rapidly growing so there is room for growth if you decide to stay with Invenergy

Cons

Pay and raises are very low. Invenergy is moving towards 100% in office

Poor leadership

Pros

Decent pto, and its hard to get fired as a tech but as a Manager it's easy to get fired if you have your own options. You can promote as long as you are willing to kiss butt and drink the company coolaide.

Cons

Middle and upper leadership will throw you under the bus if it will make them look good. Very little integrity, a whole lot of do as I say not as I do. Middle leadership will tell you to do something, then blame you for doing it and will act like they didn't know anything. Their safety program is a joke, all the company cares about is numbers. They will tell techs to get the job done any way they can, then they will fire the tech for working unsafe. The good Ole boys club is still a very real situation, it's all about who you know. Favoritism is a real problem especially in Texas 2. Pay is low and Directors like to tell people that they are over paid even though techs and managers are expected to live for company.
