Smart people, but culture of underpaying and micromanagement

Pros

-You get to work with a lot of smart people that are passionate about energy.

Cons

-Employees are underpaid compared to competitors. -Full-time in office schedule (also not competitive with other companies) -Culture of micromanagement. Salaried employees are required to enter time cards each week showing how they spent every hour of the day, and where they were working from. -HR ignores harassment complaints, even if proof is provided. This perpetuates the boys club culture. -Leadership is wildly out of touch with what employees want/ need.

Pros

Good place to gain experience in the industry (at the expense of your mental health) and then move on to a better company

Cons

Just like flies to a turd, Invenergy will do any and everything to make the company and their billionaire ceo more money instead of sticking to their mission statement of building a more sustainable future. Currently investing in natural gas and data centers which is antithetical to a sustainable future. Spineless company who values making an extra buck over supporting their employees and developing more renewable energy projects.

Pros

good PTO and that is pretty much it.

Cons

This is a terrible company. Invenergy is constantly losing its O&M contracts so there is no long term unless they continue to build sites. Invenergy promotes the laziest people with terrible management skills. Invenergy claims they care about safety but has a terrible safety culture. Everyone here hates their job. Invenergy has more meetings about doing work than actually doing work.
