Pros

• Compensation is relatively competitive for the Hyderabad market. • Work pressure is moderate — nothing overly complex or stressful. • Opportunities to learn basic operational processes, especially in back-office or support functions.

Cons

• Layoffs are frequent and large-scale — witnessed up to 60% reduction in team size during my time. • Limited career growth due to unstable environment and high attrition. • Most of the work is back-office oriented; minimal exposure to strategic or client-facing roles. • Uncertainty impacts team morale and long-term employee commitment.

Pros

Found a lot of advocates and great people who were very interested in investing in me personally and professionally. The company has only gained more notoriety since I've been there too.

Cons

Very few negative things to say. More pipelines and career avenues within Invesco outside the core ETF/core financial products and the iTAP program could be highlighted and offered more, but it's also been two years since my internship.

Pros

Hybrid working - 3 days p/w in the office Great benefits package - private healthcare, dental, optical (all paid for, including family free of charge, only have to pay tax on it, can upgrade at an extra cost if you like) Pension - 10% non-contributory pension scheme Wellbeing - Onsite gym (Henley), Subsidised Restaurant (Henley - incredible food, the chefs and staff do a great job here), Wellbeing room (Henley), Employee Networks (Global) etc. People - Great bunch, some of the smartest and most professional people I’ve worked with. Lots of long-serving colleagues across the firm which says a lot about how well we’re looked after here. Risk & Audit function has expanded massively over the last few years, real drive to embed good risk management across the firm with plenty of buy-in from senior leaders.

Cons

Only thing holding it back from being a 5-star review is the visible politics at a senior level across the Risk & Audit function which ultimately disseminates down into the lower levels of our respective teams, causing unnecessary friction. We’re all one team, with the same goal. Yes we may have different opinions on how we achieve those goals but that shouldn’t come at the expense of our working relationships.
