Excellent place to make a career

Pros

Opportunity - lots of promoting from within for those who are passionate about what they do and strive to be the best

Cons

Pay doesn't tend to be the highest. They are competitive, and when you factor in benefits, work life balance, etc, the pay is very good. However, if money is your main priority, you may be able to find places that will pay you more for the same job

Best places to work!

Pros

Invesco is a solid company who embodies the work life balance concept. Compensation is at market or above market in some areas. The leaders of the company give constant updates of their purpose and direction.

Cons

Cons are subjective to the department and manager. Company wide, the lack of investment in their existing employees is a problem. If your existing talent does not have the skill to take on a higher position why have they not been developed to take it on? Where you are in your career is where you will stay at invesco in the next 5 to 10 years.

Pros

Exposure to a wide scope of investment strategies across various asset classes

Cons

Company does not value employees. No effort for talent retention. Constant turnover. Management is short-sighted and is unwilling to make upfront investment to build the organization. Very bureaucratic and lots of politics.
