In interviews, you can ask if there has been any recent vertical growth for Mumbai employees. During interviews, questions about career growth are not answered clearly. The company talks a lot about “relationships,” but what this really means is not very clear in day-to-day work. Earlier, Investec IGSI was a good place to work, but things have changed after recent management changes in the Mumbai office. Policies keep changing, which creates confusion. The leave policy now follows UK holidays, so there are no holidays for major Indian festivals like Holi, Ganpati, or Dussehra. UK summer holidays in August are not very useful for employees in India.
