Pros

Flex hours..enjoy co-workers, free garage parking.

Cons

Pay, healthcare, 401K retirement are atrocious! No raises in @ least 6 years & it's taboo to discuss, as ransom sized bonuses to execs have been guaranteed with no interruption. Do not come here if you're looking for a career that pays well. But if you're looking for a job to get you through until something better opens up then yes do apply. Nothing that's needed to make your job more efficient is ever in the budget. Policies and procedures look good on paper and sounded good in the meeting but are not enforced consistently. Lower management applies no common logical thinking practices to basic daily tasks. IT dept is a clueless joke. Something is always wrong with an operating system & they never know why or how to permanently fix it. Too many varied responsibilities for each position for the low wages. They really mean "additional duties as assigned" in the job description. Deadlines are expected to be met with an overwhelming work load but OT is barred. No OT is probably the only policy that's strictly enforced. The execs figured out an effective way to eliminate OT by tying it to lower management bonuses. If lower management allows OT it decreases their bonus...get it? Certain employees that have found favor with the IIC remain on the payroll earning inflated salaries with NOTHING to do. Lacking in advancement opportunities unless you have favor. In this case a position will be created for you or you'll stay in your current position & be paid an inflated salary just because you're you & they like you.

Reward those that make it happen

Pros

Large company with a great network of people. There would be lots of opportunity to move up within the organziation if anyone would choose to stay that long. Few rarely can stand it long enough to move up.

Cons

Company is too large for upper management to be able to recognize it employees at the individual clubs. These are the people that make it happen. These are the people that provide the service for the members of the clubs that make up this company. When they do have to pay out a bonus or incentive program they find a way to not pay the maximum you have earned.
