Pros

This is a start up that is going somewhere. Lots of room to grow if you can hack it. Poised to succeed

Cons

It's a start-up. Limited perks, but I think they are coming soon. Expectations are high.

Thanks for your review! We do feel like we are going somewhere, it's in the air. Our employees are the most valuable asset to the company, and yes, as the revenues grow, perks will follow. We do now have a an Itemize Fun Team that plans events for us, an internal FB page for hanging out, and a Thor Hammer awarded to impressive achievements at any time.

Pros

Located in the NYC downtown area, easy to get the office. Small company, but been around for a few years.

Cons

No clear direction, no vision, long hours, repetitive boring tasks. No career development path. Management is disrespectful to employees, and in return to your efforts - the pay is low. Overall, the atmosphere seems very depressive, and the motivation of the team is low.

I am sorry this was your experience at Itemize. Between it's founding in 2012 and today -2016 - the company has grown, and with that growth and maturity comes some growing pains. Itemize values its employees above all else. The atmosphere gives people the ability to feel heard, to have a say in the direction of the products and company, and to be appreciated. I hope you have found yourself a better fit.
