Pros
The great thing about Ivanti right now (specifically in the UX/Product Design space) is that they are rebranding themselves and looking forward to integrations and innovations like they never have before. They are also upscaling the Design Practice and working on things such as: establishing cross-platform design systems, maturing the user research practice, establishing a Product development workflow around Marty Cagan's "Inspired" methodology, and creating a firm customer focus in the organization. There is a lot of growth opportunity here.
Cons
Due to the age of Ivanti as an organization, there are a lot of collaboration and cross-departmental communication issues due to years of silo-ing and waterfall process. There especially seems to be a lot of misunderstanding between Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, with very little transparency or focus on the day-to-day activity and needs of customers. Often features seem to be pushed down and implemented without teams speaking directly with customers about those features. Also, there is a giant gap in terms of telemetry/analytics across the products. Most of the pieces around the design practice are very loosely defined, and onboarding for new employees is very lean. For those looking for structure and a smooth onboarding process...Ivanti isn't quite there yet. The growth opportunity in the design practice is equally a challenge as there are still a lot of gaps in the maturity of the practice, but these likely will be shored up within the next year.
