      Layoffs and EBITDA

      Pros

      Benefits are good. Lots of extra perks-parties, food, gear. The executive team is better than most out there and seem to be honest people.

      Cons

      If you get acquired by Ivanti, run away quick. 90%+ of all employees from acquisitions done over the years are fired or leave. Products are dying. Top employees are leaving. Annual RIF's are now the norm. If you are a current employee, keep a close eye on sales. If there are any misses expect there to be layoffs. Don't stick around to wait and see. Despite what management may say, EBITDA is king. Moving to low cost locations (ie Poland) will be a primary focus across all departments. Employees that leave generally don't get backfilled and nearly everyone in the company is overworked and just getting by. There is no investment in additional resources. People are burned out and morale is at an all time low.

      Pros

      It was excellent to work for Lumension Security and for HEAT Software.

      Cons

      Ivanti made this worse when closing the sites completely.

      Pros

      Team Members are helpful and want you to succeed. Pay is decent for an entry-level position. Always snacks to eat. I saw a review that says there are Mormon clicks, this is untrue I feel like the outsider who found their way included without compromising who I am.

      Cons

      The product is poorly optimized, development is more interested in making new things and putting off fixing old things so you get constant calls of the same things over and over. Many management shifts made it difficult to get what we needed when we needed. The customers are lazy and are just looking for someone to fix it for them rather than supporting them in finding the solution. If something goes wrong and you warn them they will still pass the blame onto you getting your management involved. You eventually get stuck and don't grow anymore, using one product day in day out doesn't expand your IT knowledge and doesn't help reach goals
