      At Ivanti, take what you're told with a large grain of salt

      Pros

      - There are great, smart people working for this company who enjoy what they do - Fun events and team-building activities are organized and encouraged - Unlimited snacks/drinks are provided to employees, with frequent team lunches - Good benefit options

      Cons

      - Even though they have quarterly all hands calls to review the prior quarter, it's not always apparent how well/poorly the company is doing - Many of the Sales executive team worked together at a prior software company, so there is a definite "boys club" atmosphere - Executives will tell/promise you one thing, then work to undermine your efforts to get what they really wanted (which may have been a concern you expressed to start with) and will have no problem discharging you once they have used you to obtain their desired goals - Major turnover in field sales teams, they can't keep their account managers and those who have been there awhile become insulated and "siloed," stuck in their ways (having learned how to play within (and game) the system to their benefit) and not willing to open up to positive change - The integration of the many companies (and products and cultures) that have been acquired over recent years and now make up Ivanti could have been handled better

      Phenomenal people and leadership culture

      Pros

      I was drawn to Ivanti after a couple friends, independent of one another, joined the company. Through the hiring process I learned why - leadership is approachable and cultivates a fun atmosphere. The company's strategy to become a one-stop-shop for all things IT, and host that solution in the cloud, is visionary. People are laser focused on building great products and making customers happy - interoffice politics and jostling for seniority isn't a thing you have to worry about here.

      Cons

      1) No stock or bonuses, at least not for non-managers 2) It is a bit disorganized - who owns UX has gone back and forth for months, what we are building has pivoted wildly ... I think we end up making the right decisions but it would be good to make concrete decisions to reduce some heartburn. 3) We simply can't build fast enough - Ivanti Cloud needs more data sources to ingest, and it needs more functionality from across Ivanti legacy products 4) the engineering org is trying but struggling to become a devops - there is no dedicated weekly headcount to address operations, and engineers aren't getting paged at night for problems. 5) It's a worldwide company, so most meetings are in the mornings (starting at 8 am) to accommodate employees in other time zones.

      Ivanti is an awesome place to work!

      Pros

      Great executive staff, you will not meet a more caring and down to earth group. No back stabbing, just genuine people who want to create a good place to work. Pay is very competitive and the benefits are good. Everyone is very flexible when it comes to certain life challenges/events - management understands that you come to work to fund your life, not the other way around!

      Cons

      It would be great if separate PTO days were assigned to sick days, that way you aren't using your vacation days when you are sick. Also adding a paternity leave policy would be cool.
