Pros

Landesk has a very solid culture. Fun place to work with good people.

Cons

Pay is below market standard. Adjustments are going to need to be made in sales compensation plans to keep the best and brightest

Promising Company Constrained by EBITDA

Pros

LANDESK (and it's subsidiaries Shavlik and Wavelink) has great products that actually work and benefit customers. The company has many talented and dedicated employees who work very hard to bring the company forward. The salaries and benefits are in line with other companies in the Salt Lake City area.

Cons

LANDESK is wholly owned by Thoma Bravo, an investment capital firm. TB demands that LANDESK return a large percentage of revenue as a profit contribution (which can be used to fund investments in other companies or can be retained by Thoma Bravo). Subsequently, LANDESK is starved for capital to grow operations organically. Most departments (save sales) are understaffed/underfunded.

Pros

LANDESK is a good company to work for because they care about their employees. They fully stock all of their fridges, compensate nicely with Spiffs, and they are very family oriented.

Cons

The Salary & compensation is below average and employees are seeks better rates or moving to a different position. The management lacks and needs improvement in the quality and experience
