Ivy mount was a Great Teaching Occupation. I came in as quite the novice and immediately felt uncertain about being able to perform well in this environment. But I quickly realized that I was surrounded by a supportive community that helped me grow and improve on the skill set that I learned while there. The supervisors, the teachers, Susan and the students played a huge role in my increased capabilities while at IvyMount. They were extremely patient with me and they became my little family as I weathered IvyMount throughout my spontaneous/lifechanging pregnancy and my son’s first year of his life. Till this day I still reference Ivymount as the place where I learned so much. I took the skills that I learned from there and applied it to many facets of my personal and professional life.
