      Pros

      Tight knit teams, good benefits, decent starting salary.

      Cons

      Fleet Manager is truly a thankless job. You are ranked by a scorecard that is almost completely out of your control unless you are driving the truck. You are pulled in many different directions by drivers, managers, and other departments.

      Good pay, relaxed management style, equipment fairly well maintained, easypass and fastrak,

      Cons

      Management kowtows to customer, lots of work with no pay, do not pay for run to fuel tractor, do not pay when customers faulty pallet structures fail and you must rebuild pallet on site, also do not pay when customer is off schedule and often many hours of downtime with resulting schedule screwup that they then expect you to take all detractions of in stride and somehow complete delivery as though everything is going perfectly well
