Pros

The benefits and compensation were great. They focused on safety and I never felt like I was going to have to worry about retribution if I brought a safety concern up.

Cons

Felt like time was wasted with busy work rather than being allowed to do research, projects were limited. There wasn't a lot of room for moving up, the only hope was if someone retired and caused an opening. I never felt like there was room to present new projects for development. Culture was very rigid concerning telecommuting or flextime.

Pros

Great principles that are more than just a statement on the wall. Great people that care about each other and the company. Great products that meet customer needs. Learning organization.

Cons

Risk aversion offsets potential speed benefit of private company. US base can turn off foreign affiliates but working on cultural sensitivity.
