Pros

Many offices which brings more opportunity to the retail bankers.

Cons

They want to breed their own kind. Anyone acquired through acquisition whether they are successful or not is considered an outsider and therefore not condusive to the work place.

Pros

The calibre of people working there is very high and you get to work on things ahead of the rest of the industry.

Cons

Long hours and very thankless work, mostly Excel based. Working with people that are consistently difficult and inflexible. Absolutely no work life balance. Terrible bonuses. Promotions are very politically influenced and not based on merit as managers claim they are.
