Pros

The Technology, People and process are getting better. There are visible indications of improving work life balance. Post the BS and financial crisis, strategic initiatives are more aligned with work on the ground.

Cons

These are not show stoppers but prevent it from becoming a great place to work. Inter ranking, Subjective Performance measurement, inconsistency in cultures from division to division.

Pros

Definitely a household name and well positioned relative to it's peers. There is a lot to like about Chase.

Cons

The retail bank is a difficult place to blossom if you aren't excited about becoming a branch manager or abm or DM or MM. It's almost impossible to transition into one of the other lines of business.
