Pros

They believe in a work-life balance. They have many capable and intelligent people. They take pretty good care of their clients and they try to listen to what the client needs as opposed to what will make J-U-B the most money.

Cons

The work-life balance is mostly favored by the upper level people and by people that "just get by" at work. The lower and mid-level "workers" are encouraged to get the work done. They are not asked to be a part of the "golf team". If you are "in the inner circle" you will do well. If you are not part of their inner circle you will be relegated to mediocrity.

Pros

Some coworkers were great people.

Cons

Terrible place to work for women. Was harassed by two men in the organization. They don’t call it Just Us Boys for nothing.

Pros

Autonomy, schedule freedom, yearly COLA increases

Cons

At J-U-B, there is a noticeable disparity in compensation, bonuses, growth opportunities, and shares between engineers and non-engineers, despite the significant skills and contributions of the latter. This inequity undermines morale and fosters a toxic work environment characterized by gossip and slander. Employees without shares often feel undervalued, further exacerbating dissatisfaction. Additionally, there is a lack of effective communication within the company, as area managers and group leads frequently fail to relay important information to staff. Management tends to listen to young professionals straight out of school but often overlooks the insights and experience of seasoned employees who have been in the industry for decades. Furthermore, if you professionally disagree with anyone in a position of influence, you risk facing punishment and being blacklisted, which stifles open dialogue and further erodes trust and collaboration.
