Business Outlook
Pros
Flexibility- family and home life is respected. Co-workers are extremely respectful, even the ones I don’t necessarily know well, or are great friends with.
Cons
There is definitely still a good ‘ole boys club mentality. While there are many women in management positions, they are not promoted as quickly, or as often. I’ve seen men promoted who don’t know half as much as their female co-workers, but are buddies with the boss. It’s a really unbelievable that it still happens in 2018. And there is a very definite glass ceiling. And it’s rather low.
