Pros

A culture change is happening, where wellbeing and inclusion are being promoted. Workwise, good job opportunities given the size of the business.

Cons

Agile working embraced blindly, producing huge amount of bureaucracy. Typical of a big company, where 20% of the workforce is doing 80% of the job. Very slow and conservative decisions, lack of innovation. It's almost impossible to grow in the same team, promotions do not exist and to progress one must find another opportunity within the company, but in a different team. Lateral moves never bring a monetary benefit, so often people must leave the business to increase their salary with experience.

Pros

There is always new things to learn Transparent management for low and mid level Flexible working hours and WFH policy Possibility of overseas remote working (Depending on department)

Cons

Pay is not the best once you reach certain grades Some stakeholders might have some negative attitude Sick pay is not 100% for new starters Process kept changing and not synced for the whole business For foreigners, the company can be too "British" in a bad way
