Pros

JHA strives to keep insurance costs low and treat their employees well. I have a great direct supervisor and co-workers that function as a team. It feels like a family and the whole company is committed to top notch customer service.

Cons

Banking industry has suffered with the economy and it affects our profitability. Temporary pay cuts were imposed in 2008 for 9 months to avoid layoffs. Although incomes were reinstated, still haven't had a raise in 2 years. I trust that the company will rectify that when possible and consider myself fortunate to still be employed, but it is very difficult financially.

working from home, good benefits, values its employees and its clients

Cons

promotions and raises arent based on performance; many managers make their emplpoyees wait 2 years in each job role before being able to transfer and be promoted.
