No clear direction in the DoD sector. The managers they've promoted to lead these business development efforts don't have the experience needed to be successful. As a result, they make knee jerk decisions that causes upheaval across the organization only to change course again several months later. In the 2 years I worked here as a BD Principal there were 4 reorganizations. Every 6 months. I was routinely assigned to large scale ($700M - $1B) proposals that were due in months only to be pulled and put on another one with just as short a suspense. I wasn't the only one either so each proposal team had a revolving door of people being assigned then pulled for other proposals. Very inefficient and poor management.
