Pros

Espouses a culture of caring. But, it really depends on your supervisor if you’re cared for. A lot of DoD former military branches and egos. Some haven’t a clue how to be a civilian.

Cons

Subject to whether you have a good manager. Most in cyber suck at knowing 1 thing about managing or have any communication or people skills. My personal experience? You’re disposable. The work horse gets rewarded with more work. Lazy dudes just there to pull in a paycheck. Zero accountability for management to actually do their job. So they pawn it off on others.
