Pros
Autonomy. I am able to form my own atmosphere based on teh programs I am involved in. Creates very little stress. Company, though not near my working location, is in touch often enough to remain involved in the inner-workings of the company.
Cons
As a contract position, not much room for advancement. Having that status limits a person to the confines of the job description and salary you agreed to when hired. But, you understand that when hired, also. Additionally, exempt employees still have to account for hours and overtime is not authorized. So it is 80 and out for your two week period even if you still have lots to do.
