Pros

Corporate level provides progressive roadmaps and tools for employee development. The programs are rolled out for business units to implement. On the surface it appears to be employee oriented and customer oriented. Very large corporation with potential several business units world wide.

Cons

A new CEO recently took over and announced the spinoff of the technology group. Uncertainty about the future; rumored we will be sold off. Minimal evidence of our business unit making efforts to embrace the corporate vision for DEI. Specifically minority representation in positions of leadership are minimal. Diversity includes more than just white women at the Sr. & Exec management levels. To date there are no people of color in positions above line management after 10-years on a government contract.

Pros

-Generally the WLB is very good. We work on a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 remote. -The people who work here are great. -Space Force client is pretty easy going and receptive to feedback. -The company values "go-getters" - you can try new things and management will generally back you up if you get into a corner. -Because turnover is so high - you can rise quickly in the company if you stand out and are known on the contract as a high performer. -Government job so it's about as safe as you are going to get in this economy. With all the re-orgs - management keeps everyone, even if their position is being eliminated, and puts them into a new role.

Cons

-Compensation is the lowest in Colorado Springs for Agile leaders. -Turnover is fairly high - it's hard to get things done because people are being shuffled around constantly to make ends meet. -Management is constantly restructuring teams which adds to the issues with turnover. -Working in a basement with no windows.
