Pros

Interesting and diverse range of projects Supportive and collaborative bunch of colleagues Some ability to drive your own development and future

Cons

Leadership is out of touch. There was no understanding (or more specifically recognition) of how the changes since the merger between SKM and Jacobs affected our day to day functioning and productivity. The new systems are inefficient, we had to pick up the duties of the functional staff who were made redundant, tools provided weren't fit for purpose, yet we were increasingly being pressured to increase our billable work. The penny pinching was getting ridiculous despite how well the local business was doing. Hadn't seen the executive leadership in a long time and they have no interest in the people driving the business. People are not their greatest asset.
