      Pros

      There are a few pros for working at Jacobs. the benefits are better than most, the pay is decent and the people at the location i worked with was good.

      Cons

      At my location, management was bad. Filing a complaint with Jacobs HR department was a hassle for some reason, to the point where it was better to just leave. Jacobs will keep you in the dark about everything unless it’s making them look good.

      Great talent in overall team, very good infrastructure, good number of job opportunities, great EPCM for mid-major scale projects, presence in multiple cities, states, nations, competitive cost to customer, good salaries, fast promotions if you have connections, serious for industrial and office safety and professional in customer orientation, respect for project schedules and quality of work, desire for accuracy

      Mid - senior level management politics, back-stabbing, lack of control over spreading lies of fellow employees by easy-ear management, promotions based on connections only, unfair opportunity assignments, lack of rigor in just and fair performance evaluation, lack of effective talent development program, sometimes ignorant of customer needs, poor sales development, lack of rigor in the engineering department, fails to win bids for small projects due to unjustified bureaucratic cost estimates, huge overhead billing, lack of control by management on unjustified billing, lack of talent and success identification
