Pros

If you work on a contract you don't have to deal with corporate and the PM's take good care of their employees, but if you work indirect then I can't think of any pros.

Cons

way to many to list but, raises, medical insurance, 401K, training, terrible BD department and management are horrible the good old boy and interoffice relationships with upper management is out of control. I have worked for numerous DoD contractors and this is by far at the bottom

Pros

Good technical expertise, team approach is stressed, good repeat business clients, desire to to do right by our clients. I like the team I work with and the type project work that we do, travel is by car 2-4 hours each way, typical to our job sites.

Cons

Their review grading process is being flattened so everyone is a 3 out of 5 (satisfactory IE (average)). 1s & 2s don't work there anymore, 5s don't exist 4s have to be demonstratively shown that are superior than everyone else which managers don't want to do. Probably doesn't matter since everyone gets same percentage raise anyway but seems Un-American. If there is no work, don't expect to be carried on overhead no matter how good you are.
