Good pay. Decent benefits. Adequate vacation time. Honest and caring coworkers. Great discounts on Newell products (at least while owned by Newell). Positive focus on safety. Raises every year.
Cons
Chaotic, disorganized, no structure. President is self absorbed and all about himself. He rarely comes to the office and no one knows where he’s at if looking for him. He bullies and intimidates. He had “RESERVED” painted on “his” parking space because a night shift worker was still in his spot when he got to work. An announcement was even made that a tow truck would be called. Sr. Management just bickers back and forth with no action or strategy. Everything is a last minute fire drill. No accountability in most departments. Procedures not followed with no consequences. Operations is falling apart with mechanical failures. Product quality is deteriorating. Finance spends all their time taking care of corporate and ignores internal needs and requests. Long tenured employees are leaving for other jobs or retirement. Morale is lowest in years.
