Pros

Pros: -Customer base -Benefits are decent (not the greatest compared to other tech companies but OK) -They are starting to ramp up continuing education programs, and DEI awareness programs -They are trying to get diverse in their practices -Informal communication and virtual first culture is great -Great with work/life balance -If you know how to communicate your wants/needs and have the right folks to speak with ... you can go far All teams / managers are different and there's some teams that really cultivate growth, success, diversity, and different perspectives

Cons

-Lack of management training (please make sure if you're promoting someone to a manager, it's not because they were good at their last position being a non-manager but they are also good at coaching, adapting, and cultivating the skill sets on their team -Perhaps better benefits and stock incentives -Involve critical employees in product changes vs just allowing it to be part of an executive huddle, perspectives from employees who face customers everyday would be more realistic -Don't have a favoritism mentality within teams

Pros

- 401k match - Some good benefits

Cons

- Well below market pay - Senior talent leaving in droves, jumping off this sinking ship - C level leadership treats people like crap and is more focused on cutting budget and trying to look good for VCs than people - The product is a legacy mess, nothing worth putting on your resume if your a dev - Most engineering work has been hacking subpar solutions on tight deadlines and getting roped into endless escalations - The CEO

Growing market-leading company; competent, results-focused leadership

Pros

-Company setting record results under new, experienced, growth-mindset CEO and leadership team; we consistently earn our bonuses now -Data-driven and results focused; your impact and contributions are what matter; prior leadership valued beers, buddies, and high-fives; people are finally recognized for their performance and not how long you’ve been friends with the CEO (of course, for some, this shift is uncomfortable) -Employees are empowered to contribute ideas and drive real change through an established process of developing and testing hypotheses -DEI efforts are no longer solely performative in nature; employees were empowered to define a mission, set goals, and implement programs to bring them to life; the feeling of inclusivity is real – Goodbye Bro culture! -Market competitive pay; excellent benefits; flexible work framework since leadership cares more about results than time in your seat; seamlessly shifted to virtual first

Cons

-Change can be hard; some of the folks that have been here for a long time are clinging to the old ways of lack of accountability or results and can introduce negativity. -While shift to virtual first was essentially seamless, company could’ve offered a more generous “get started” home office reimbursement -Too many disparate internal systems and little in the way of change management which can lead to a lot of cross-functional frustration; growing pains
