      Great flexibility but biased hiring practices

      Pros

      Flexibility and some really great and kind humans. VTO experiences.

      Cons

      Internal hiring practices appeared to be biased (friends hire friends) and all about “who you know.” But maybe that’s corporate America. Often decisions were made without considering all implications and concerns were often dismissed. Hard to feel included if you’re sober or not in a sports bracket. Things were good until they weren’t.

      Benefits are good, but management treats us like numbers

      Pros

      Benefits are pretty much the only positive at this point. Working hybrid is nice, but pales when we used to be fully remote with no issues.

      Cons

      The senior managers of Technical Support are driving this org into the ground. Employees are no longer a human, no longer an employee; we are now just numbers. KPI requirements have gotten ridiculous requiring employees to almost literally fight over available work to make ourselves look better. Its a complete sham, a numbers game. There are those of us that are legitimately here for our users and administrators, but the quantity of work has vastly outweighed the quality.

      Pros

      - Good WLB - Highly skilled people around - Interesting product, modern technologies - Transparent grow opportunities (depends on manager though) - budget for a new hires in good - 30 days PTO in Czech - great and healthy culture

      Cons

      Compensation growth is conservative (~inflation level). Promotion brings more, but not to the level of new hires budget.
