Pros

Deal flow and exposure is excellent

Cons

Long investment banking hours, weekends and annual leave totally unprotected. Working during coronavirus often 7:30/8am start and 2-5am finish day in day out with no time to eat or exercises and no deliveroo. Concerns were raised and not acted upon. Many juniors leaving due to unsustainable lifestyle, those still there looking elsewhere. Bonuses were very poor compared to industry standard despite 'record' revenues and hours worked.
