Pros

I've worked for four investment banks, Jefferies easily has the best culture.

Cons

The whole industry is over-regulated and pay is in a long term decline. Banks have to pay more for junior people to keep them from going to tech companies and they still have to pay the "star" bankers and research analysts top dollar, so everyone in between suffers in terms of compensation.

Pros

Incredible culture and amazing people. Top investment bank. leading in numerous groups and industries (Healthcare, Industrials, etc...). As a junior analyst, you take a lot of responsibilities. Management respects work/life balance.

Cons

Nothing different to any other investment bank. Heavy workload and long hours, but nothing bad. Steap learning curve. Growing company so everyone is expected to work hard.
